Submit to more than one Search engine

n.b dont use websites that claim to submit your URL to Search Engines this might be negative to your blog in the long run

Be the informer

Have a section on your blog about the latest and exclusive happenings in relation to the topic you are writing.

Be the commentator.

If you visit a blog or website that speak about the topics you speak about, make good comments on those topics, don’t just leave a comment that says “thank for the information. Also make suggestion to the blog/site owner : on information he has left out and information he can include.

This will drive the traffic from that blog to your blog.

Be the giver

Offer free articles to your readers to paste on their blogs provided that they put your URL as a source on that page. This will provide back links to your site and also traffic to your /blogsite as well. Also provide useful links to tools or applications.

Be the helper

Quote and link to other blogs in a post that speak about what you speak about, N.b don’t do this with your biggest competition do this with blog, below you or beneath. After this don’t yes don’t ask for a link back, they might give it to you willingly, just because you quoted from them.

Be curious

Ask your reader what they want you to add on your blog, and ask them how they feel about the blog.

Be the loud mouth

Mention your blog everywhere you go to people who you think might be interested in reading your blog.Do this on chat rooms, skype, shout boxes you get the point you bound to get some blog traffic

Be the submitter

Submit article to a lot of article directories, make the article interesting and they must have catchy titles, this will increase your PR (page rank) with search engines and will bring you a swam of readers.Start here

Forum (Mize).

Joint a lot of forums on the topic you speak about and be the commentator there as well, with regard to forums have a signature(link back to your Blog) this will increases traffic and boost page ranking.

This is also how Google Bombing is done, so instead of writing your blogs name when linking write what you want to be search for and that’s it. If enough and I mean enough blogs link to you with that phrase or word you are bound to get a higher ranking.

So when ever you link exchange tell the linker to use the word or phrase you want to be search for and remember to keep the links growing.This is totally legitimate.

Fresh Contents

If you can combine what was said about links and anchor text with fresh content you sure to rank high. Fresh content is loved by search engines and if you can update your blog every week you will make good progress to Google's top 10.

This though depends on what you are writing about if you write about something that's not very competitive you don’t have to update that much but you must update and do maintenance on your blog.

Keyword tweaking

This is very effective on how you rank and has to be done and must be done, if you repeat the keyword you want to rank for you will get a good ranking ,this must not be overdone because Google will think its spam and rank you lower or be banned.Use this tool to see which words people search for in relations to your Topic or keyword, try to use most of the words/phrase suggested instead of one.
